- Cable Television Laboratories(3) - Cable Television Laboratories, Inc. (CableLabs) was established in May 1988 as a research and development consortium of cable television system operators. CableLabs plans and funds research and development projects that will help cable companies take advantage of future opportunities and meet future challenges in the television industry. It also transfers relevant technologies to member companies and to the industry. In addition, CableLabs acts as a clearinghouse to provide information on current and prospective technological developments that are of interest to the cable industry.
- CAD Framework Initiative, Inc. - CFI, Inc. is an international, not-for-profit consortium of CAD (Computer Aided Design) tool users, tool vendors, and research institutions. Since 1988, CFI's mission is to provide industry-accepted standards and technology that enable interoperability of electronic design automation (EDA) tools and data for end-users and suppliers worldwide.

- Management Integration Consortium - The goal of the Management Integration Consortium is to provide an open organization in which management platform vendors, management application vendors, and users can cooperate to leverage existing integration capabilities, and to develop new integration technologies. The consortium primarily is a working forum to hash out the real life issues of integration between management products. The consortium also expects to draft documents, based on the successful efforts of consortium members, intended to represent de facto standards. Over time, these standards will provide a conformance baseline against which users can evaluate products for their integration capabilities.
