The Bare Bones Guide to HTML lists every official HTML tag in common usage, plus the Netscape extensions. Version 3.0 of the Guide conforms to HTML 3.2; I am currently working on a version based on the recently-approved HTML 4.0 specification. For official information on the development of HTML, see the World Wide Web Consortium's HTML activity statement.

I regret that, due to time constraints, I'm not longer able to answer individual questions about HTML.

English-Language Files

Plain Text (v. 3.0): ASCII text version designed for printing out or keeping open in a text editor while you design Web pages.

HTML Formatted (v. 3.0): Formatted using HTML tables, and also includes links to introductory material and notes on some tags. The best-looking version for on-screen viewing or printing.

Introduction Page: Includes a version history and some useful explanatory material about how the Guide is formatted, what makes it unique, and which tags are included.
