I've been a fan of Margaret Becker for a long time. Since
1992 I have enjoye the musical offerings of Out Of the Grey
Scott and Christine Dente. I was not overly impressed with
Susan Ashton on my first exposure to her music, but have
since changed my opinion after seeing a video and listening
to this TRIO release.
There are 12 tracks on this album, each woman lead sings
4 songs, and does backup vocals for the others. The songs
that grabbed me from the first listen are Susan Ashtons'
Walk On and Margaret Becker's "Oh Me of Little Faith".
Christine Dente's "Angels" is growing on me, as well as
"Breathe on Me".
The title track "Along the Road" was written by Dan Foglberg
and I believe is the first released single for radio play.
Out of the Grey and Trio are currently traveling together
doing concerts across America. unfortunately, they are not
coming to New England, where I'm located. So off to Lancaster,
PA on December 12 for their concert after an 8 hour drive.
I am sure it will be worth it.
